How do I change my email login address?

If you wish to change your login email, please contact [email protected] and indicate your current and new email address you wish to use.

How do I login as a user?

Go to Login on www.justdelegate.co and enter your registered email address and password. You may also login via Facebook.

How do I change my password?

Log into your Delegate account, click on your avatar on the top right corner and go to My Profile. Enter your new password and save changes.

I forgot my password. What should I do?

When trying to login to Delegate, kindly click I Forgot My Password and fill in your account details. An automatic email notification will be sent to your registered email address accordingly.

How do I delete or deactivate my account?

If you wish to delete or deactivate your account, please reach out to us at [email protected] and indicate your current and new email address you wish to use.

How do I start using Delegate?

Start your event planning journey on Delegate in these ways:

  • Search by Inspirations: We have a library of over 20,000 hand-picked inspirations from our amazing vendors. Start the process by searching for images based on themes, event types or event categories. See what cool events have been planned by others before and create boards around events you’re planning, specific themes or just projects and images you love.
  • Browse Event Packages: Packages are value bundles that allow you to experience vendor services if you’re looking for a less customised option. Buy these packages instantly and save time and hassle to go through the quotation process.
  • Search Vendor Directory: If you know what you’re looking for i.e. a florist or photo booth, our robust vendor directory has everything you need for an awesome event. Seamlessly filter based on vendor category, check out vendor reviews and price lists to help with your hiring process.

How do I enquire with a vendor?

  • When you’re adding an image to your inspiration board, you will be able to message the vendor tagged to the image directly. The vendor will be added to your Message Now cart. Enter your event details and enquiry, and send it across when you’re ready. You will be able to send a single enquiry to multiple vendors at one go.
  • From your board, view all featured vendors tagged to the images you love. Shortlist the vendors you would like to enquire with and add them to your Message Now cart. From the Message Now cart, enter your event details and enquiry, and send it across when you’re ready. You will be able to send a single enquiry to multiple vendors at one go.
  • From the Our Vendors page, shortlist the vendors you’re interested to enquire with and add them to your Message Now cart. From the Message Now cart, enter your event details and enquiry, and send it across when you’re ready. You will be able to send a single enquiry to multiple vendors at one go.
  • When you’re viewing a vendor’s profile, message them directly by adding them to the Message Now cart. From the Message Now cart, enter your event details and enquiry, and send it across when you’re ready. You will be able to send a single enquiry to multiple vendors at one go.
  • When you’re viewing an event package, click on Book Now to instantly enter your event details and enquiry to the vendor.

What information should I provide in my enquiry to the vendor?

We encourage our users to provide vendors with as much detail of their event as possible. Key information such as event date, type and number of guests are all critical for vendors to provide you with an accurate quotation. If you need more guidance, you may also complete a questionnaire by clicking on the Fill Me Up button that will help vendors provide an even more tailored quotation.

How do I see my shortlisted vendors?

To view all shortlisted vendors, go to the Message Now cart located on the top right corner of the page.

Will my event details be shared with vendors?

In order for vendors to provide you with an accurate and tailored quotation, all event details completed when you enquire will be shared with your shortlisted vendors.

How do I view a vendor’s complete profile?

You may click on any inspiration image or click on any vendor on the Our Vendors page to view a vendor’s complete profile.

Can I share a vendor’s profile and how?

Yes, share the profile of the vendors you love to your friends by email, Facebook or Twitter. Simply click on the icons on the right panel of each vendor profile.

How do I view vendor’s price list?

Some vendors include their price list and menu in their Downloadables found on their vendor profile. Because of the customised nature of events, we encourage all users to enquire directly with vendors to get the most accurate quotation.

Can I book a vendor through Delegate?

Yes, once a vendor responds with a quotation you are happy with, you can proceed by accepting their proposal from your Inbox. The vendor will indicate the agreed cost, deposit required and full details of the services they are rendering for your event.

Can I pay a vendor through Delegate?

Yes, you can. We collect 50% deposit on behalf of our vendors to confirm their services for your event date. The remaining balance will be collected directly by vendors according to their payment schedule.

What happens if a dispute occurs? How do I report a vendor?

Reach out to us at [email protected] and a member of our team will be assigned to review and understand your case. The resolution will be based on our policies and in some cases, we may need to contact you to gather additional information before we can make a decision. While we’re always happy to help, it may take more time to reach a resolution when Delegate is asked to intervene. Because of this, we recommend only choosing to involve us if you’re unable to work things out with your vendors directly.

INSPIRATION BOARD

What is an inspiration board?

An inspiration board is a mood board which you can personalise around events you’re planning, specific themes or just projects and images you love from vendors on Delegate.

How do I filter inspirations?

You may filter and search for inspiration images based on specific themes, by event type or by vendor category.

How do I create an inspiration board?

Log into your Delegate account, browse inspirations and choose an image that inspires you. Add To Board when you hover over the plus icon and click the Create New Board button below the expanded image. Key in details of the board you’re creating i.e. the event name and board name.

How do I pin images to my inspiration board?

All of the images on Delegate are available for you to pin to your inspiration board. Simply hover over the plus icon of each image and click Add To Board. Choose the board you want to pin the image to or Create New Board if you not created any before.

How do I view my inspiration board?

To view your inspiration board, click on your avatar on the top right corner and go to My Boards.

How do I delete my inspiration board?

Click on your avatar on the top right corner and go to My Boards. Go to the board that you would like to delete and click on (Edit). Delete the board by clicking on the Delete button. Do take note that deleting a board is permanent.

How do I delete images from my inspiration board?

Click on your avatar on the top right corner, go to My Boards and into the board with the image you would like to delete. Click on the cross on the top right hand corner of the image you would like to delete. Do take note that deleting an image is permanent.

How do I share my inspiration board?

Go to the board you would like to share and click on the channel you would like to share it on. You may share it via Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+ and via email.

Who can see my inspiration board?

Anyone you share your inspiration board’s unique link with will be able to see your board.

PAYING FOR YOUR EVENT SERVICES ON DELEGATE

How do I hire a vendor on Delegate?

Once a vendor responds with a quotation you are happy with, you can proceed by accepting their proposal from your Inbox by clicking on Hire This Vendor. The vendor will indicate the agreed cost, deposit required and full details of the services they are rendering for your event.

Can I pay a vendor through Delegate?

Yes, you can. We collect 50% deposit on behalf of our vendors to confirm their services for your event date. The remaining balance will be collected directly by vendors according to their payment schedule.

What are the methods of payment available?

We accept payment from all major credit or debit cards, including VISA, MasterCard and American Express. You may also opt for us to bill you offline - for this option, please reach out to us at [email protected]

How do I confirm my payment?

Once payment is successfully made, you will receive an email notification which confirms your payment. Do note that the email notification for offline payments will take at least 2 business days.

How secure is my credit card information?

Our payment gateway provider is Stripe, which has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1 - this is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry.

REVIEW SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

What is your review policy?

Reviews are important to Delegate. We encourage you to share your experiences so that other users in our community will be able to make better planning decisions. Delegate will not edit any reviews posted on the vendor’s profile however, we reserve the right to hide or remove any content that we deem offensive or inaccurate on a case-by-case basis.

How do I write a review for vendors?

Log into your Delegate account, click on your avatar on the top right corner and go to My Reviews. Pick from the list of vendors you have hired and write them a review directly. Alternatively, go to the right panel of the vendor profile and click on Write A Review.

How do I delete a review I have written?

In order to delete a review you have written, reach out to us directly at [email protected] and a member of our team will get back to you.

Why does my review not appear instantly on the vendor profile?

We take your review very seriously and we want to ensure that all parties in our community are fairly represented therefore, there is a 24 hour approval process before the review appears on the vendor profile.

Why was my review removed?

We take your review very seriously and we want to ensure that all parties in our community are fairly represented. If your review was removed, it means that it was reported offensive or inaccurate.

Can I report a review I find offensive or against the guidelines?

Yes you may. Please reach out to our team at [email protected]. Do note that we will need ample time to gather more information before we make a decision to remove the review.
